Labor Relations Specialist
CSEA is seeking resumes for a Labor Relations Specialist to serve the workers across New York State. Responsibilities include working with union activists to engage members at their worksites and in their communities and negotiating /administering collective bargaining agreements. Must be able to operate independently & schedule workload. Drivers license/car for business use is required. High School/Equivalency & 3 years full time related experience or BA in related field or acceptable combination of work experience and education.
Currently recruiting for positions in Mid-Hudson Valley and Long Island field areas.

Entry Level Clerk positions

Legal Assistance Program Assistant
Seeking resumes for a Legal Assistance program Assistant in our downtown Albany headquarters. Working under the direction of the Legal Department Office Manager the position works with the Program Administrators assisting with bill payments, case management, approvals/disapprovals and providing general clerical and administrative program support such as handling inquiries from arbitrators, regional attorneys, administrative agencies and staff regarding fee processing and guidelines.
Starting salary is $38,000 to $40,000 with built in salary growth, excellent benefits including a generous leave package, a defined benefit pension plan and opportunity to participate in 401(k).
Qualifications: High School Diploma. Demonstrated ability to: multitask in a high volume atmosphere with efficiency, accuracy and persistence; handle phone inquiries providing information and efficient and accurate follow-through; familiarity with terminology related to grievances and disciplinaries in employment context; willingness to take on responsibility; and ability to work efficiently on pc applications and standard office equipment. Accuracy, precision, and attention to detail are essential.

Information Technology positions
INPUT/OUTPUT CONTROL SPECIALIST produces job streams, validates and distributes work; provides data control, including scheduling, logging and validation of job data, input and output quality control, establishing schedules for delivery and pick-up of data to outside payroll sources and locations, ensuring timely receipt of machine readable information from outside sources. Assist helpdesk with level 1 support and troubleshooting. Applies understanding of Windows operating system, MS Office and basic computer networking in execution of assignments. An Associate Degree from a recognized institution with specialization in data processing with at least one year of experience in the operations department of a computer center and in a computer operations related title. Starting at $43,184 with excellent benefits including health, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage, wellness plan, tuition reimbursement, defined pension plan, 401k available and generous PTO offered. In person presence expected. Remote work is available at the Director’s discretion.
